“Day one, Day one – start all over again. Step one, step one – I’m barely making sense….”

 

 

My alarm tone (Not as we by Alanis Morissette) began to echo the room as clock turned to 5 in the morning. I’m a morning person and I feel proud about it! I love to wake up early, partly also because I love that vivid silence in the morning hours. Let it be silence in the real world where everyone finds coziness in their blankets or the silence in virtual world where I get some alone time to answer all my pending mails of the previous day or to interact with my early bird friends.

 

 

I was a little reluctant to wake up (trust me, that rarely happens). As if my soul knew that today was going to a difficult, a different day. And indeed, it was.

 

 

Every morning after waking up and before coming into my full consciousness, there are these little moments in time, fragments of space. Before reality strikes in, before I realize where my life is leading itself. There is that duration of 10 seconds, when everything is at its perfection. When no one has left anyone, no one has walked out of anyone’s life, when no one is dead. When I’m content and surrounded by positivity. But soon, the span of those 10 seconds collides with reality and all the facts come crawling back into my bed. That makes me sad, that makes me unwilling to go and carry on the entire day with a smile on my face. That makes me angry. I look at my uncharged phone, and that makes me angry. I look at my schedule of the day, and that makes me angry. I open my door, and the sound of it makes me angry too. I turn on the lights, and that makes me angry too. I travel, and the traffic with all those noises makes me angry. I walk around the hallways of this place, like I have been walking everyday from past 3 years, and that makes me angry. I interact with morons and lunatics, and that makes me angry. I feel like I’m stuck, between the axis of space and time – I feel like I’m that static co-ordinate that has been at its place since forever; And that makes me angry. The anger reciprocates with every second and with every thought.

 

 

I assume that the anger must have reached at its saturation today, as I somehow realized that I’ve been angry from a very long time now. There comes a time in our lives when we come to this conclusion that the life given to us in not what we deserve. I have always known this fact deep down in my mind that I deserved more than the life given to me and I should make an effort to change it.

 

 

At night, I sat down in the middle of the fractured atmosphere to gaze the stars above. While I was trying to figure out the shape of some strange anonymous constellation, the flashbacks of my life started running at the skyline, like an animated movie. My imagination met with my memories. I just sat there, while enjoying the view and thought….thought about almost everything and anything in my life. I thought about almost every significant or insignificant person in my life. In the end, I came up with many conclusions.

 

 

A person doesn’t get enlightened in a day, but a day is more than enough to change the perception of one’s about his/her life.

 

What is Life?

 

Life is not a series of events which happen during the course of our existence in this world. Life is not something that can be transferred, and certainly not something which cannot be understood. Life is something which you define for yourself. There is no constant or universal definition of life. You live your life and I live mine. You can not define or judge my life, and neither can I do with yours.  Life is simple; it is we who makes it so complicated.

 

Life is…. (Undefined and unwritten)

 

 

We all have loved and lost. There are people I know who regret losing their loved ones to the finality of death, and I know many who have lost the people they loved deeply because of some other causes. Whatever the reason is, losing someone who is so near to you hurts. It hurts our soul, because when we love someone truly and deeply, then they become a part of us and when we lose them, we also lose that part of us with them. That fragment of ours never comes back and then we begin to feel incomplete.

 

 

What I say is that there is no shame in holding a broken heart. A broken heart is a symbol of passion; it means that you tried for something. But holding on to a person who has left you, is also impractical because sometimes, in the process of holding onto someone else’s memory and life, we end up losing ourselves to this world. And when that happens, when we lose ourselves in the process on holding someone else – then everything else disappears and our life turns to a dead-end.

 

 

We should remember that everyone enters our life because of a reason. Not everyone can be your soul mate. People come for a reason and when their work is fulfilled, they silently leave out of your life. It doesn’t mean that they are good or bad, it just means that their role in your life is over and you should also move on with yours. Everyone writes their own fate, we are all the creator of our destiny and we are the in-charge of ourselves. We do not own the life of anyone else. So, when their work is done, why do we say that they have left us? For the fact is that, we never really had them entirely on the first place.

 

 

Nobody loses anyone, because nobody owns anyone. We all are the writers of our lives and when we begin to write on a different book, it doesn’t mean that we own that book or that chapter. It just means that we have to play a part in the writing of that book. When our part is over, then the book would be passed to someone else to write their story. We never had that book entirely to ourselves on the first place. We never own anyone’s life to us in this world and that is why we never lose anyone to this world.

 

 

I have heard a lot of people saying that they have lost themselves to this world and they can’t find their soul back. I agree to it, because I have gone through something similar myself. The easier it is to lose yourself, the harder it is to find your lost soul again. But ironically, the best way to find you is by first losing yourself to this world.

There have been times, when we feel that we are like the blank space between two words, which has no meaning of its own. Sometimes, we feel insignificant. But humans have been created to face all the obstacles that their life has to offer, so that it can bring out the best in us.

 

 

Before going to bed tonight, I look at myself and then I look at the rest of the world and I wonder why this world was even created at the first place. Though there has been a lot to wonder, but what I know for sure is that no wound, no fracture in our soul is so strong that it cannot be healed with love. People say that time heals every wound, but I do not think so. Time doesn’t heal anything, though it makes us stronger or sometimes distracts us with other things in our lives. If you keep a wound in your life as it is and will allow time to make it better, then it won’t work, because time doesn’t heal a wound – Love does.

 

 

When you start to love yourself and your life, then every wound and every fracture inside your soul gets healed, if only you will allow it to. If only, you will say “yes” to love and to life. So, say “yes” – to all the possibilities that life has to offer, and never regret any person or any moment in your life. Because at the end of it all, you only get one life to live and thus only one life to love!

 

Whirling Dervish Dance Group

Indian Council for cultural relations (ministry of external affairs govt. of India) in collaboration with Suresh Gyan Vihar University , jaipur have organized a Dance show by the Whirling  Dervish Dance Group , an amazing dance group direct from cairo,Egypt.

The evening show with beautiful lights and blowing cold winds given the scenario an upper decoration, the dance group was really fantastic ,a really different style and really energetic performance.First starting with God's worship in white costume ,the dancers were looking really pure ,then they started with a colorful amazing dance using whirling them and their diversified costume.The show ended with the standing ovation by the audience and ONCE MORE , ONCE MORE in the air.A realy amazing dance performance.

Shell Scripting:While login to UNIX

In UNIX,shell is a very strong and most important tool.
When you login to UNIX , a shell executes and you see a login prompt, this shell can be a bourne shell , a POSIX shell, etc (depending on the versions of UNIX) i.e. for LINUX it is a bourne shell.
When a user types a username , a password prompty comes and when user types a password ,the entry is matched with the preentry made in file /etc/passwd .
Now if the entry matches the user successfully get loged in but if the password doesnt match the GETTY program takes over and we get a new login prompt untill you made a true entry.

An encounter with Mr. Tapas Dasmohapatra

Well today writing this post to share my recent encounter with a great speaker

that is Mr. Tapas Dashmohapatra, a speaker of  more than 2000 seminars and meets over the life science topics like self deception and much more in his very own way.

It was his inspiring words and his technique to present them which force me to write about him and what i gained i think it will be great if i share all or a part of it.

His most focused topic was the self deception , examples were like awesome and was really interesting to hear as all were from  the common life from every aspect may it be the common home scenario or the office the friendly environs or anything it was from every part.

Well let me share one of the most inspiring and interesting incidence told my Mr. Tapas , he told how he was giving a same speech few weeks back and while he was on stage with a varied of audience in front including the business personalities , people from all age. Just in between his speech he just taken out a 500 rs note and ask anyone to come and take that note and he insured the one who will come will be the owner of that... everyone was just staring at him..as if n0 one was interested , they were staring each others face as if they are in exam hall and paper is very tough.He called out again but no one came. After a last call out he saw a 18 years young , fully enthusiastic  boy

running towards the stage he just came taken that note..he was the winner,everyone just clapped an

d he was given the note. But the interesting part came then when Mr. tapas started asking the thoughts from the different audience about the incidence...he started with the person sitting in front row "you w

a

s in front then why didn't you taken the money"..and the answer was "i thought why will u

give me that money just like that"...

Then he asked another one and he got the answer "oh!! i am a business man i didn't need your money i have much of mine"...and the other one said "well i was just about to come but then saw a child running ..ah!! and  i dropped the idea" and at last he asked that boy, yes the winner and he was quite satisfied with his answer he got that was " i thought lets try if u will give me that money then it will be ok and if you denied then also ok...surely i wont lose anything while i will go there" well thats called the positive thinking.

After the incidence everyone was just giggling and laughing but the truth was this small incidence was covered with a lot mean in itself.

There were a lot other incidences too really enjoyed the whole program and the best part was that i meet him personally after the show.really hats off to the man, he really did a great job.

Port numbers and their ranges

The port numbers are basically divided into three ranges: the Well Known Ports,the Registered Ports, and the Dynamic
or Private Ports.

From 0 to 1023 are the well known ports.

From 1024 to 49151 are the registered ports.

from 49152 to 65535 are the dynamic or private ports.

Fixing windows error: USB not recognized

It can be a common problem friends that all a sudden all your USB ports will stop working , or your windows will irritatingly starts prompting  "USB not recognized" but for the error there is nothing to be worried , use the following steps and get a rid from this:

 

 

 

 

Go to device manager.

click on USB controllers , you will see a list of USb hub ports, click on each of them and unistall them one by one .

When you are finished uninstalling all your Usb ports just power off your pc and restart it after a period of 20 minutes.

When motherboard will boot it will install all the usb drivers again and you will find that all your usb ports will start working fine.

NOTE: In case of a laptop after unistalling all the usb ports shut down the laptop, remove its battery and then put it back after a period of 10 - 20 min.

Being covered among the so called weighted words and the damn quotes really impress everyone and that too me.

whenever i hear a quote , i always think not what it means but How the thing came to that person's mind and not mine..really he must be lucky else my name would be among some golden books.

Well why am i discussing what you don't want to , the reason is my recent accident with a kinda interesting statement, calling it just a phrase may be its insult so using some prefixes the most amazing , magical , popular , blushing that was for girls >> statement "Love At First Sight"...huh..total KUDOS..!!

I dont know what the statement means to some of you so better write a DISCLAIMER for that, i really dont wanna take a risk:

well i was just asking my friend wat the kinda thing this LOve is and what actually this phrase "love at first sight" means..and what he told me was

But it is really a crap part love is something like a substitute of bla bla bla...totally vain stuff.

And the answer was "bla bla bla........and the most important i will make girlfriend this year and consistently make another three in next three years respectively", well with the point of engineering and considering it the answer of an engineer not really bad as the answer was full of hope (at least).

But really it is something like love is just a part of pride and not bad too ,saying a boy having a girlfriend has more value in his college than the one who tops it.

And recently i came acrossed a variedness in the subject ((here the subject is love)) , someone told me about the types of love and then it was somehow interesting for me ((even now i can draw a graph or a tree or a heirarichal structure of it ))

and the so called types was: conditional love , unconditional love , temporary love , permanent love , one-day love, day-night love ,fortnight love and one really

interesting was the last one SEMESTER LOVE ((no one here is talking about studies, if you get that in mind while reading...better close the article))

Love is now a days the booming topic for the stand up comedians not because its funny ((don't exclaim!!)) , but it is a universal accepted truth.

Well i think its better now i stop exposing the most glittering topic ((ya ya LOVE)) of the writers, novelists and poets not because i am afraid of someone or the feeling that someone will get hurt-ed really bothers me but its 11 and my cell is just waiting for a ring actually its time for the call of my girlfriend and today we

are going to have a brief discussion on the most lovable gift of god i.e. LOVE.

Dear Rahul, to refresh your memory, you were arrested/detained by the FBI the BOSTON Airport in September 2001.

9 HOURS he was kept at the Airport.

He was later freed on the intervention of the then Prime Minister Mr.Vajpayee.. FBI filed an equivalent of an FIR in US and released him.

When FBI was asked to divulge the information for the reasons Rahul was arrested by Right/Freedom to Information Activists... FBI asked for a NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE from Rahul Gandhi.

So Subramaniyam Swami wrote a Letter to Rahul Gandhi, " If you have NOTHING to HIDE, Give us the Permission"

HE NEVER REPLIED!

Why did that arrest not make Headlines Rahul? You could have gone to the Media and told, "I am ashamed to call myself an INDIAN?".

Or is it that, you only do like to highlight Symbolic Arrests (like in UP) and not Actual Arrests ( In BOSTON)

Because it so happens RAHET FATEH ALI KHAN'S recent arrest was Splashed in the Media and Your arrest in 2001 hardly got a MENTION..

2. Accounts > privacy settings >custom

3. There click on customize settings. you will get a window showing "Things Other Share"

4.There  click on edit settings in “Photos and videos I’m tagged in” tab.

5. Then in ‘Who can see photos and videos I’m tagged in’ choose customize and that will take you to the screen where you get two options “Make this visible to” and “Hide this from”.

6.In “Make this visible to” choose only me and click on save settings.

How to transfer data through a adhoc network

Many times we come across the situation when we don't have a pen drive or any data traveler device to transfer the data between the two computers.

Then we have only an option of bluetooth ,but as data speed is very slow we can try try for an other option through wireless network.

We can get a  data transfer speed of 600 kb/s to 1 mb/s through an adhoc i.e. computer to computer network.

The following are some simple steps how can we do that:

1.Create a adhoc network and let other computer to connect through it.

2.Now give the ips to both the computers,remember to give same class ips to both the computers.

3.Then go to run and type \\ip of other computer , then press enter.

4.Enter the username and password if enabled on that computer.

5.You will get an window open with the files shared on that client computer,now You can easily share the data by just making it

shared.

How to open telnet port in windows 7

In windows xp and lower versions telnet port i.e. 23 is open by default but there comes a need to open it manually in case of windows 7.

Following are the simple steps to do that:

1.Go to control panel

2.programs>programs and features>Turn windows features on or off

3.There just check the Telnet Client  button and thats all.

4.Restart the system.

NOTE: telnet is used for remote login so i advise to keep it open only if you are using it , not just for fun,it can be a wrong decision and you can be very close to be hacked!!!!

My friend asked me today about the problem he his facing in ubuntu linux ,that he was unable to switch from the cli mode to the gui mode for that there is simple command that is:

startx

enter it through root and you will be able to switch from cli mode to graphics mode.

Other than that there are more commands too:

init 5

This is default for graphical mode and by entering it can be switched from cli to gui.

Remove the complex backgrounds from pictures

Many times we need just a part of picture and there comes the use to remove the rest complex part of that picture.

It can also be the case when we need to convert a .gif or .png file.

The whole thing can be done using the photoshop. The below steps indicates the same:

1.lets taking the example of a picture and opening it in photoshop.



2.from tools select the magic tool as shown in picture

3.Now just click on the unwanted area and when it get selected click on delete.This way remove all the unwanted areas.

NOTE: make it a layer first.



4.thats the final step just save ur final pic in .gif or .png file as you reqire.

Which one is secure GSM or CDMA?

There is always a question in my mind whenever the thing is to choose a mobile network that wheather i take the gsm or the cdma?

But the real question is what the difference is,which one is prior??

So i just wanna enlighten some common but unnoticeable points regarding both by this article:

1.CDMA is much secured as compared to GSM as it uses code multeplexing.

2.CDMA sets uses much power than the gsm sets and this got a increase when we leave the home region,and it is due to the same code multeplexing.

3.GSm can be tapped but not the CDMA.

4.By the use of JAMMERS gsm networks can be jammed in a locality but it doesnt works on cdma.

5.CDMA is faster than GSM in data transfer,but both services are growing or we should say developing to overleap each other.

6.CDMA uses  R-UIM cards which are only compatible to their handsets while in GSM it uses SIM cards thus providing a variedness.

Well all these were just a tech difference between the two , its upon you what you choose....enjoy!!

You can login with multiple id's on the same yahoo messenger without any download or patch .
Follow these steps :

1. Go to Start ----> Run . Type regedit, then press enter .

2.Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER --------> Software --->yahoo ----->pager---->Test

3.On the right page , right-click and choose new Dword value .

4.Rename it as Plural.

5.Double click and assign a decimal value of 1.

1.For gmail users,open your inbox and then your mail you wanna check,then click on the drop down button present at reply option at top of the mail..there you will find a "show original" button click there..and then click on show header...a new window will get open and you will be able to see the original sender its i.p. and everything.

2.For yahoo users..at the end of the mail body you will see a button with name "Full Header"...just click there and you will get what you want.
